Note:

The number of supporting points and supporting details determines the number of sentences in a paragraph. The more points and specific details, the writer provides, means more sentences are to be written. Meanwhile, the number of supporting points decides the number of paragraphs in the body of an essay. The more supporting points the writer mentions, the more paragraphs are to be written.
