done a needs assessment, contact a colleague or professional, or
work with a student.
- Get permission
to observe one activity that students will have to do, or read one
assignment in a content area.
- Decide what
students need to be able to do, and how well.
- Observe where
students fall short, and write outcome statements based on this.
