Week 2

Things you should start doing!

• Part 1:
  1. Join Academic Writing Yahoo Group:< https://alothman-b.tripod.com/academicwriting_elizabeth.htm>.
  2. Introduce yourself to the teachers and students from Taiwan.
  3. Do the self test located on the Files section. Then post your score to the group, providing feedback or any knid of comments.
• Part 2:
  1. If you still can't decide on a topic, use this graphic handout to help you decide.
  2. Find good Internet resources to read and gather information about your topic. (Remember to use search engines, effectively).
  3. Find resources from a traditional library. (We will visit the Science Library at Khaldiya campus, on Saturday, March 13).
  4. Outline your topic in details and submit a draft, on week 4.
  5. Work on your outline until it makes a good, clear guideline.
  6. Post your notes, and new information from a reading to your blog.
